Former US soldier claims to have shot and killed a 12-foot giant in Afghanistan
An American patrol disappeared in a remote area of Afghanistan in 2002. A search and rescue team was dispatched, and a soldier on the team identified what he saw after rounding a mountainside:
When we turned the corner, we could see the opening of the cave. Then I find a lot of rocks, which is also strange. And there is bone tissue. I’m not close enough to say what kind of bones they are, but I did see something that looked like a piece of our communications equipment.
As a result, we instinctively think of ‘ambush’, perhaps animal, but it could be anything. There was a lot of space in front of the cave, but it was totally uneven; however, there was enough room for us to spread out in case of an ambush.
They saw something emerge from the cave shortly after joining the scatter formation that took them by surprise, despite their preparation.
“He was a tall man, about 12 to 15 feet tall. This creature is a MONSTER. His beard was scarlet red and extended past his shoulders, as did his hair. And Dan charges at him and starts shooting, bringing us all back to reality, because it was surreal.”
“As Dan approaches, another one of my brothers is shooting and I start shooting. He skewers Dan, and now he has him on this ‘pike’. She passed through him. He has it, and he is looking for more. We all jump at the same time. I’m not sure what he was, but everyone was yelling, ‘Shoot him in the face, shoot him in the face!’ He’s taken a lot of hits and he’s still moving.”
Finally, the giant was dispatched. Dan had already been killed. Shortly after, a helicopter dropped a cargo net on the patrol unit. They were told to cover the giant with a net, and soon after, a larger helicopter landed, lowered a rope, and they pulled the giant out.
The light-skinned, red-haired colossus had six fingers and six toes on each hand and foot, according to the soldier. After submitting his after-action report, the soldier recalls that his superiors instructed him to rewrite it in a particular way, probably excluding any mention of a giant being.

Although he is not an eyewitness, another special ops soldier in Afghanistan says, “We would go back to base and start hearing this story about a unit that killed this, as they started calling this very tall man.” At first I didn’t think much of it, until I found out that the person they killed was three times the size of a man, had extra fingers and toes, and had red hair, and that a special unit had arrived. and I wanted this goal.”
“Well, we learned that they lost it inside a cave, or at the mouth of a cave, and this was common knowledge among military personnel. You think to yourself, “This has to be a joke,” when you first hear it. This has to be a hoax. And you know it’s not a joke when things go a certain way and you keep hearing it.”
